The Prey

Three young couples embark on a weekend camping trip in the wilds of California, but become prey to someone or something that doesn't want them there. Shot around 1980, "The Prey" is a backwoods slasher inspired by "Friday the 13th" and similar to contemporaneous films like "The Final Terror". The film delivers a decent-but-nothing-great viewing experience, standing out only from its contemporaries in being superior to the lousy "Don't Go in the Woods".
