Sprinter

"Sprinter" is an action drama that tells the story of Akeem Sharp, Jamaica's next big track-and-field sensation, played by Bryshere Y. Gray. As Akeem pursues his athletic dreams, he must confront turmoil at home, including a volatile father and an unruly older brother who threatens to sabotage his career. Lorraine Toussaint plays Akeem's mother, Donna, whose struggles as an illegal resident weigh heavily on her son's ambitions.
