American Dreamz

In the comedy film "American Dreamz," President Joseph Staton (Dennis Quaid) is booked as a guest judge on the television talent show American Dreamz after a nervous breakdown. Martin Tweed (Hugh Grant), the host of the show, features contestants including Sally Kendoo (Mandy Moore), a conniving steel magnolia, and Omer Obeidi (Willem Dafoe), a jihadist who joined the competition to gather information for his terrorist organization. As the finale approaches, William Williams (Chris Klein), Sally's boyfriend, discovers a bomb hidden in the trash can and detonates it, killing himself and Martin, leading to an unexpected win for William.
