17 Miracles

The 2011 American historical adventure film "17 Miracles" tells the story of Levi Savage (Jasen Wade), a former Mormon Battalion member and missionary to Asia, who joins the Willie Handcart Company on their perilous journey to Salt Lake City in 1856. Alongside Elizabeth Panting (Emily Wadley) and other pioneers, they face numerous challenges including winter starvation, illness, wolves, freezing river crossings, and death. However, these hardships are tempered by individual participants reporting divine miracles that help them complete their journey and arrive safely in Salt Lake City.
