The Cat and the Moon

Alex Wolff stars as Nick in this 2019 coming-of-age drama film about a teenage boy who moves to New York City while his mother is in rehab and finds friendship with a group of kids led by Skyler Gisondo's Seamus and Tommy Nelson's Russell. Along the way, he meets Stefania LaVie Owen's Eliza, a girl who bonds with him over childhood memories, but their relationship is complicated by Seamus' infidelity and Nick's struggles with his own emotions. The film follows Nick's journey as he navigates adolescence and confronts his feelings about his family and himself.
