Death Warmed Up

Death Warmed Up is a 1984 New Zealand zombie film directed by David Blyth, starring Michael Hurst as Michael Tucker, a young man seeking revenge against Dr. Howell (Gary Day), who hypnotized him into killing his parents years earlier. After seven years in a mental institution, Michael, with the help of his friends Jeannie (Norelle Scott) and Lucas (William Upjohn), infiltrates Dr. Howell's clinic on a remote island to kill the scientist. However, in the process, both Jeannie and Lucas are killed, and Michael faces off against Dr. Howell in a violent confrontation that ends with Michael's own death by electrocution.
