Tigers Are Not Afraid

Estrella, a young girl, joins a gang of street children after her mother disappears under mysterious circumstances. She meets fellow orphans Shine, Pop, Tucsi, and Morro, who were also affected by Chino's human trafficking ring 'The Huascas.' Estrella uses three wishes granted to her by her teacher to help the group escape danger, but each wish comes with a terrible cost. As she navigates this treacherous world, Estrella uncovers dark secrets about the people around her and ultimately must confront the evil forces responsible for her mother's disappearance.
