Blood and Chocolate

Nineteen-year-old werewolf Vivian, born in Bucharest to Romanian parents who emigrated to America, lives with her aunt Astrid, a former mate of the werewolf pack leader Gabriel, who believes she is the prophesied woman to bring about a "new age of hope" for the pack. Vivian begins a romantic relationship with graphic novelist Aiden, researching werewolves, and must keep their romance secret from Gabriel's son Rafe and the rest of the pack, who see her as a threat. As tensions rise, Vivian is torn between honoring her family's secret and her love for Aiden, leading to a climactic confrontation that will determine the fate of both humans and werewolves.
