Honeyland

Honeyland follows Hatidže Muratova, a Macedonian beekeeper living in the remote village of Bekirlija, as she struggles to maintain balance between nature and human consumption. The film explores her relationship with her bedridden mother and her neighbors, particularly when a nomadic rancher named Hussein Sam arrives and disrupts her way of life. As Hatidže tries to protect her bees and the natural environment, the consequences of her actions lead to a devastating outcome for herself and her community.
