The Silent Revolution

In 1956 Stalinstadt, East Germany, during the Hungarian uprising against Soviets, local teenagers perform a seemingly harmless act that causes unexpected consequences. Character Lena (Lena Klenke) and her classmates Kurt (Tom Gramenz), Theo Lemke (Leonard Scheicher), Paul, and Erik Babinsky (Jonas Dassler) hold a moment of silence for the victims, but their teacher and school authorities view it as an act of protest. As the situation escalates, the students face severe punishment, including being prohibited from graduating and facing interrogation by zealous school superintendent Kessler.
