Dogville

A mysterious woman named Grace (Nicole Kidman) hides from criminals in the isolated Rocky Mountain town of Dogville, where locals at first decide to shield her and she openly works labor tasks for them to work off her gratitude. The townsfolk's true nature soon reveals itself, as they show their teeth to a fugitive who has become an unlikely part of their community. As Grace tries to find redemption and acceptance in this harsh mountain town, the residents' treatment of her descends into exploitation, abuse, and violence, raising questions about morality, friendship, and the American Dream.
