Tea with Mussolini

In 1930s fascist Italy, adolescent Luca's life takes a dramatic turn when his father sends him to be taken care of by British expatriate Mary Wallace and her cultured friends in Florence. As the women navigate their own privileged lives, they find themselves increasingly precarious as Allied forces declare war on Mussolini. When Luca follows his heart and becomes embroiled with Elsa, a wealthy American widow, he must confront the uncertain future ahead and ultimately find a way to help those he cares about escape the danger that surrounds them.
