Texas Across the River

In this raucous 1966 comedy Western, Dean Martin and Alain Delon trade witty banter as unlikely allies in a Texas showdown. When Don Andrea de la Casala flees Louisiana after a duel gone wrong, he teams up with trek guide Sam Hollis and his Indian sidekick Kronk to tame longhorns and win the heart of debutante Phoebe Ann Naylor. Along the way, they must evade a Comanche war party, outsmart corrupt cavalry officers, and navigate a series of absurd misadventures that leave them all laughing and loving by film's end.
