The Take

A San Francisco policeman, Lt. Terrence Sneed (Billy Dee Williams), is sent to Paloma, New Mexico to help take down a local organized crime syndicate led by Victor Manso, a respected community leader, in this action neo noir crime drama. Sneed visits his former lover, Dr. Nancy Edmondson, who refuses to revive their relationship and accuses him of corruption. As he navigates the complex web of corruption and deceit, Sneed must confront Chief Berrigan (Eddie Albert) about his own corruption, leading to a tense confrontation that ultimately results in Sneed's promotion to captain.
