Picnic on the Grass

The film "Picnic on the Grass" (1959) follows Étienne Alexis, a prominent biologist and presidential candidate for Europe, as he hosts an aseptic picnic to celebrate his engagement. However, Mother Nature has other plans, and a sudden windstorm brings together Étienne with Nénette, a young farm lass who has been hired as his chambermaid.
