The Old Man and the Sea

Spencer Tracy stars as Santiago, an aging Cuban fisherman struggling to land a massive marlin in the Gulf Stream, after 84 days without catching anything. The film follows Santiago's grueling journey, marked by perseverance and respect for nature, as he battles sharks and ultimately loses his prized catch. Along the way, Santiago shares moments of joy, nostalgia, and introspection with Manolin (Felipe Pazos Jr.), a young boy who becomes his companion.
