Hellboy

In 1944 during World War II, Grigori Rasputin and his disciples build a dimensional portal to summon demonic entities called Ogdru Jahad. Allied forces destroy the portal, pulling in young scientist Trevor "Broom" Bruttenholm and an infant demon who is dubbed "Hellboy". Sixty years later, FBI agent John Myers joins the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense, where he assists Hellboy and amphibious psychic humanoid Abraham "Abe" Sapien. Hellboy battles creatures summoned by Rasputin's resurrection and works to stop his plan to unleash the Ogdru Jahad, leading to a final confrontation with the powerful entity.
