In the chaotic streets of New York City, Pinhead is unleashed to wreak havoc with his Cenobitic kin, leaving a trail of destruction and death in his wake. The demon's return is sparked by the absorption of human life force from unlucky souls, setting off a chain reaction of evil that must be stopped by reporter Joey Summerskill, who soon discovers she has a personal connection to Pinhead's past. With the help of Captain Elliott Spencer, Pinhead's good half, Joey must navigate a web of demonic manipulation and puzzle box secrets to prevent Pinhead from claiming souls for his own twisted pleasure.
