The Clan

The Clan is a 2015 biographical crime film written and directed by Pablo Trapero, starring Guillermo Francella as Arquímedes Puccio, Peter Lanzani as Alejandro Puccio, and Gastón Cocchiarale as Daniel 'Maguila' Puccio. The story is based on the true events of the Puccio family from Buenos Aires, who kidnapped four people between 1982 and 1985, including three of whom they murdered. In the film, Alejandro, the eldest son, starts to collaborate with his father in kidnapping wealthy families for ransom, while his other siblings become embroiled in the crime. The story follows the Puccio family's descent into darkness as they struggle with their own demons and ultimately face justice for their crimes.
