The 2019 American historical adventure film "Togo" tells the true story of Leonhard Seppala and his lead sled dog Togo in their epic journey across the treacherous Alaskan tundra during a diphtheria outbreak in 1925. Willem Dafoe stars as Seppala, who must convince his wife Constance (Julianne Nicholson) to allow him to take Togo, despite her concerns for the dog's safety. Together, they face extreme weather conditions and treacherous terrain as they attempt to deliver life-saving antitoxin serum to Nome, Alaska.
