Bitch Hug

Kristin is an 18-year-old girl who writes for her school newspaper and has a bucket list of a thousand things she wishes to do before she dies. She visits the New York City, but misses her flight and instead ends up hiding out at the house of peculiar young girl Andrea, far out on the countryside. With Andrea's help, Kristin fakes her trip to New York by chronicling it for everyone to follow. They befriend each other during their time together, but Kristin struggles with depression and feeling trapped in her life. In contrast to Andrea's experiences as an orphan and her complicated past, Kristin faces a more mundane reality with her manipulative sister Linn, who criticizes her for being pathetic.
