The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys

A group of Catholic school friends in 1970s Savannah, Georgia, engage in a series of pranks and general mischief after being caught drawing an obscene comic book. As they navigate their relationships and personal struggles, they collaborate on a comic book called The Atomic Trinity, interspersed with animated segments that bring the characters to life. Their lives are marked by rebellion, loyalty, and tragedy, ultimately leading to a shocking act of retribution that leaves one friend dead and another forever changed.
