Hocus Pocus

A fairly amusing film about witches from the Salem trials era, not that it hasn't any real connection to those events. It's very much a fun fantasy film, which looks pretty neat by the way. Three centuries later, Max Dennison inadvertently resurrects three comically villainous witch sisters - Bette Midler as Winifred, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as the mischievous Mary and Sarah - who are after his younger sister Dani's soul in Salem, Massachusetts on Halloween night, prompting a thrilling battle to save her.
