Nights and Days

The film "Nights and Days" (1975) is a family saga set against the backdrop of the January Uprising of 1863 and World War I. Jadwiga Barańska plays Barbara Niechcic, a noblewoman whose life is woven around the changing fortunes of her family in pre-WWI Poland. The film follows Barbara's dramatic life with her husband Bogumił (played by Jerzy Bińczycki) over half a century, as they navigate love, loss, financial struggles, and social upheaval.
