Fright

In the 1971 British thriller "Fright," a young babysitter named Amanda (Susan George) is terrorized by her employer's deranged ex-husband, Brian (Ian Bannen), after he escapes from a mental institution and arrives at the Lloyd residence. Amanda's nerves are on edge as she tries to protect her charge, Tara, from Brian's increasing paranoia and violence. As the situation spirals out of control, Amanda's attempts to outsmart Brian lead to a tense standoff with the police, and ultimately, a bloody confrontation that will leave only one man dead.
