Three years after the first film, Nick, Dale, and Kurt invent a car wash-inspired shower head, the "Shower Buddy", but things don't go as planned when a slick investor backs out on their deal. Seeking financial advice, they kidnap the son of the investor, Bert Hanson, in a misguided attempt to blackmail him into paying them back. However, things take a dark turn when they discover that Bert's own son, Rex, has been playing them all along, and the trio must navigate a complex web of deceit and betrayal to outsmart the police and get their revenge.
