Newsies: The Broadway Musical

In the early 20th century, a group of teenage newspaper sellers, led by Jack Kelly (Jeremy Jordan), organize a strike against their exploitative publisher, Joseph Pulitzer (Steve Blanchard). The strike, which takes place in New York City, is met with hard-ball tactics, but the boys refuse to back down, fueled by their determination to improve their working conditions and earn a fair living. As the strike unfolds, Katherine (Kara Lindsay) finds herself caught between her loyalty to the boys and her own sense of morality, while Crutchie (Andrew Keenan-Bolger), a young orphan, struggles to find his place in the group.
