Warlords of the Twenty-First Century

In the post-apocalyptic future, Earth has been devastated by the Oil Wars, leaving the regions around the oil-producing Mesopotamia Basin as radioactive wastelands. A warlord, Straker, leads a party in a heavily armed, armoured truck, terrorizing the countryside. Hunter, an ex-soldier, saves Corlie, Straker's daughter, from her father's men and takes her to the peaceful community of Clearwater, where she is accepted by the community. However, Straker's men take over the community, and Corlie escapes back to Hunter's farm. Hunter and Corlie join forces with the Clearwater people to build an armoured car to attack Straker's "battletruck". The war between Hunter and Straker escalates, with Hunter using a ruse to lure the truck into an ambush, where he and the Clearwater people fight back. In the end, Hunter and Corlie escape on the destroyed truck, which crashes into a lake.
