The Great Alaskan Race

In 1925, a group of brave mushers, including Leonhard Seppala (Brian Presley), travel 700 miles to Nome, Alaska, to deliver life-saving diphtheria antitoxin to children struggling with the deadly epidemic. Dr. Welch (Treat Williams) and Mayor Maynard (Brad Leland) coordinate the effort, while Constance (Brea Bee), a nurse and love interest for Seppala, helps care for the children and supports Seppala's journey. Seppala's team of sled dogs, including Togo, plays a crucial role in the relay, and Gunnar Kaasen (James Russo) joins the team for the final leg of the journey.
