Big Girls Don't Cry... They Get Even

In this 1992 American comedy film, 13-year-old Laura Chartoff, played by Hillary Wolf, runs away from home after feeling hurt by her quirky and dysfunctional family. Her decision leads her father, David, played by Griffin Dunne, and stepmother, Barbara, played by Patricia Kalember, to all spend time together at her father's lakeside cabin. As they search for Laura, they each have their own experiences and realizations about themselves and their families, ultimately leading Laura to return home and accept the "weirdness" of her extended family.
