Hélas pour moi

In this complex allegorical tale, Gérard Depardieu plays Simon Donnadieu, whose erratic behavior prompts his wife Rachel (Laurence Masliah) to re-examine her faith. Meanwhile, Abraham Klimt (Bernard Verley) investigates a mysterious incident involving the couple, aided by poet Aude Amiel. The film blends elements of drama, fantasy, and romance, as God takes on the form of Simon, leading to a series of enigmatic encounters.
