House on Haunted Hill

In 1999, Geoffrey Rush's character Stephen Price invites five strangers to spend $1 million each in a night at his amusement park mansion, which is actually an abandoned psychiatric hospital where a terrible tragedy occurred in 1931. Among the guests are baseball player Taye Diggs' Eddie Baker, physician Chris Kattan's Watson Pritchett, and production assistant Ali Larter's Sara Wolfe, who all must survive the night to collect their reward; meanwhile, Famke Janssen's Evelyn Stockard-Price stages her own fake death to get revenge. As the guests navigate the hospital's labyrinthine corridors and supernatural traps, they begin to uncover a dark connection between themselves and the tragedy that occurred years ago.
