Vier Minuten

The film follows Jenny, a young woman imprisoned for murder, who is discovered by 80-year-old piano teacher Traude Krüger. Krüger, a former communist, sees potential in Jenny's talent and decides to transform her into a musical prodigy. As their unlikely friendship deepens, Krüger learns about Jenny's troubled past, including her abusive adoptive father and her own experiences during World War II. The film culminates with Jenny performing a unique piece at a piano competition, where she must win the crowd's support in just four minutes, with Krüger's help.
