The Kindness of Strangers

In New York City, Clara and her two sons, Anthony and Jude, struggle with homelessness after fleeing their abusive husband Richard, a police officer. They are taken in by a nurse, Alice, who runs a local church and support group, played by Andrea Riseborough. Meanwhile, Marc, played by Tahar Rahim, helps Clara uncover the truth about Richard's past crimes, leading to his downfall. As the story unfolds, the characters find unexpected connections and support in each other.
