Drop Squad

"Drop Squad" is a 1994 drama film that portrays an underground organization that kidnaps and 'deprograms' African Americans who sell out or deny their cultural heritage. The film follows the story of Bruford Jamison Jr (Eriq La Salle), an advertising executive, who is subjected to three weeks of psychological and physical brutality as part of the deprogramming process. Meanwhile, a conflict among the members of the Drop Squad emerges as they debate the use of nonviolent or harsher methods.
