In Denmark, one year after a major bomb attack in Copenhagen, Zakaria (Mohammed Ismail Mohammed) becomes involved in a radical organization, where he befriends Ali (Zaki Youssef). As next year's parliamentary elections approach, with nationalist leader Martin Nordahl (Rasmus Bjerg) hoping for a landslide victory, Zakaria's involvement raises tensions and puts his relationships, including with his mother (Asil Mohamad Habib), to the test.
