Han yeo-reum-ui pan-ta-ji-a

A Korean filmmaker, directed by Jang Kun-jae, captures life in the small town of Gojo, Japan, in a documentary-like film shot in monochrome. The film is structured into two halves, the first dealing with the filmmaker's research and the second telling a romantic tale inspired by the research. The film features Kim Sae-byuk as a Korean actress, Ryo Iwase as a Japanese man from the area, and Lim Hyung-kook in a supporting role. The film is a 2014 co-production between Korea and Japan, commissioned by the Nara International Film Festival.
