A beautifully brutal tale of survival and revenge unfolds in "I Spit on Your Grave," a raw and unapologetic retelling of a notorious story. Novelist Jennifer Hills travels to Louisiana to work on her next book, only to be subjected to a nightmare of degradation, rape, and violence by a group of local men. As she seeks revenge, the film's stark, isolated setting amplifies the sense of helplessness and transforms into a thrilling spectacle of justice served.
