Men Don't Leave

A widowed mother, Beth Macauley (Jessica Lange), moves to Baltimore with her two sons, Chris (Chris O'Donnell) and Matt, and struggles to adjust to urban life, encountering various eccentric characters along the way. As she navigates her new life, she forms a relationship with Charles Simon (Arliss Howard), and her sons face their own challenges, including Chris falling in love with an older woman, Jody (Joan Cusack), and Matt getting involved with a schoolmate who breaks into houses.
