Blue Crush

"Blue Crush" is a 2002 American sports film that follows three friends - Anne Marie, her 14-year-old sister Penny, and friends Eden and Lena - who live in a small house on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Living in poverty, Anne Marie finds solace in surfing and trains to overcome a near-fatal wipeout that left her with a paralyzing fear of powerful waves. As she prepares for the prestigious Banzai Pipeline competition, Anne Marie meets Matt Tollman, a National Football League quarterback, and must navigate her feelings for him while focusing on her surfing career. With the help of her friends and a newfound determination, Anne Marie finds the courage to overcome her fears and compete in the Pipeline Masters.
