Down to Earth is a 2001 American fantasy comedy film starring Chris Rock as Lance Barton, a struggling comedian who is killed before his time on Earth is through. Lance is given another chance to continue his life, but in the body of a rich middle-aged white man, Charles Wellington III. As Lance navigates his new life, he helps the woman he sees before his death, Sontee Jenkins, played by Regina King, and discovers the person he never imagined he could be.
