Todo sobre mi madre

Manuela travels from Madrid to Barcelona to contact the long-estranged father of her teenage son, Esteban. She reunites with an old friend, Agrado, a transgender sex worker, and befriends Huma Rojo, a troubled actress, and Rosa, a pregnant, HIV-positive nun. Manuela's life becomes entwined with theirs as she cares for Rosa during her pregnancy, works as Huma's personal assistant, and takes the stage as an understudy for Nina Cruz, a heroin addict.
