After the Dark

At an international school in Jakarta, a philosophy teacher challenges his class of twenty graduating seniors to choose which ten of them would take shelter underground and reboot the human race in the event of a nuclear apocalypse. James D'Arcy as Eric Zimit poses the exercise, which includes cards that reveal details about the students' characters, influencing their decisions on who will enter the bunker. As the experiment unfolds, the students must decide between skills like farming and engineering, with some being allowed in while others are rejected, leading to a series of moral dilemmas and tragic consequences.
