Go Back to China is a 2019 drama film that follows Sasha Li, a trust fund-wannabe designer played by Anna Akana, as she is forced to return to China and work for her family's toy business after her father cuts off her access to her trust fund. There, she reunites with her older half-sister Carol, played by Lynn Chen, and learns about her father's troubled past and his pressure on his girlfriends to have abortions. Sasha eventually finds success as a designer, but not without her father's disapproval, and eventually returns to China to help him find a new direction for his business.
