The Adventures of Robin Hood

Errol Flynn stars as Robin Hood, the legendary Saxon knight, who in Richard I's absence in the Holy Land during the Crusades, fights back as the outlaw leader of a rebel guerrilla band against Prince John and the Norman lords oppressing the Saxon commoners. Basil Rathbone plays the antagonistic Sir Guy of Gisbourne, while Olivia de Havilland shines as Maid Marian. Robin Hood's band, including Patric Knowles' Will Scarlett and Eugene Pallette's Friar Tuck, joins forces to fight injustice and redistribute wealth, all while Robin's eyes are on winning Marian's heart.
