I'll See You in My Dreams

Widow and former singer Carol Petersen (Blythe Danner) finds herself swept up in not one, but two unexpected relationships that challenge her assumptions about what it means to grow old. After a sudden loss disrupts her orderly life, she begins an unlikely friendship with Lloyd (Martin Starr), a pool man who helps her find meaning in the present moment. Carol also meets Bill (Sam Elliott), an elderly widower who introduces her to new experiences and emotions, including love. As Carol navigates these relationships, she must confront her own grief and learn to live in the present tense.
