Kôkaku Kidôtai Shin Gekijôban

Major Motoko Kusanagi (Maaya Sakamoto) and her elite team of special operatives from Public Security Section 9 are tasked with tracking down the source of a ghost-infecting virus known as Fire-Starter, which has led to the assassination of the Japanese Prime Minister. The team is aided by Osamu Fujimoto, the Prime Minister's son. The film is a continuation of the Ghost in the Shell: Arise original video animation and ties up loose ends from that arc.
