Death Race 2000

In a dystopian future, the government sponsors a bloody cross-country race where points are scored by mowing down pedestrians. Five teams, each with a male and female driver, compete using cars equipped with deadly weapons. David Carradine stars as Frankenstein, the mysterious champion, and Sylvester Stallone plays Machine Gun Joe Viterbo, a Chicago gangster. The film centers on the murderous Transcontinental Road Race, where participants score points by striking and killing pedestrians, and the underground rebel movement seeking to abolish the race.
