La terza madre

In the 2007 film "La terza madre," Asia Argento stars as Sarah Mandy, an art student with supernatural abilities, as she tries to prevent the return of Mater Lachrymarum, a powerful witch, in Rome. Detective Enzo Marchi (Cristian Solimeno) joins Sarah in her quest to stop Mater Lachrymarum, who is wreaking havoc on the city, causing violent incidents, mass suicides, and murders. Along the way, Sarah must confront her own dark past and the forces of evil that threaten to destroy Rome.
