Atlas Shrugged II: The Strike

Dagny Taggart (Samantha Mathis) and steel mogul Henry Rearden (Jason Beghe) search for the inventor of a revolutionary motor as the U.S. government expands its control over the national economy. The film follows Dagny's quest to understand the force behind the mysterious disappearances of scientists, including Quentin Daniels, who is close to unraveling the secrets of the motor. Along the way, she must confront her brother James Taggart's complicity in the government's plans, her own relationship with Rearden, and the growing power of the "Fair Share" law. As Dagny gets closer to the truth, she faces a tragic confrontation with the mastermind behind the disappearances, John Galt.
